We recently had the privilege of partnering with the team at Free Yourself to design and manufacture the primary packaging for their new Mindful Collection. This project offered a unique opportunity to combine our expertise in packaging innovations with their vision of a sensory, mood-enhancing ritual.
DESIGNING THE ICONIC CUBE SILHOUETTE
The defining feature of this collection is the distinctive cube-shaped bottle. As a packaging manufacturer, we know that sharp geometric forms present unique engineering challenges. We worked tirelessly to ensure that the glass molded perfectly into this clean, architectural shape, creating a vessel that feels both modern and substantial in the consumer’s hand.
ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND REUSE
A core pillar of the Mindful Collection is its commitment to sustainability. We engineered the bottles to be fully refillable, a complex task that requires precise tolerances in the closure mechanism. Our team developed a seamless system that encourages reuse without compromising the premium aesthetic or the security of the fragrance inside.
A SPECTRUM OF JEWEL-TONED GLASS
To distinguish the scents — Savor, Awe, and Vibe — we utilized advanced glass decoration techniques to achieve striking jewel tones. Achieving the deep red, luminous blue, and vibrant amethyst hues required rigorous color matching and quality control. The result is a translucent finish that catches the light beautifully, enhancing the “jewelry for your vanity” concept.
FROM CONCEPT TO FINISHED PRODUCT
Our collaboration spanned the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to the final manufacturing run. By utilizing our rapid prototyping capabilities, we were able to validate the ergonomics of the cube and the functionality of the closure early on. This end-to-end approach ensured that the final custom perfume packaging met every technical and aesthetic specification.
